Actiontec 1520/1524/GT-701 Wireless Ready Modem/Router

Note: The following instructions are to be used only for customers who are subscribers to our multiple static IP service. Users with only one static IP address will not need to configure your modem/router.

1. Open your web browser and type in the following address http://192.168.0.1 into the web address bar.

When you see the image below Click on Setup/Configuration.



2. Next Click on the Advanced Setup link.



3. Next Click on the Begin Advanced Setup Button.



4. Next Click on WAN IP Address.



5. These are the important steps for finishing your static IP configuration.

• Select Obtain an IP Address through PPPoA
• Next, put a check mark in Unnumbered Mode and VIP Mode
• Next, enter your gateway address (first IP address of pool assigned)
• Next, enter the subnet mask.
• Click Next
• Click Save and Restart.

After your router/modem has rebooted. Check your internet connection and verify that you can browse web pages and send/receive email.
